The Cabinet of Ministers has changed the rules for payments to internally displaced persons
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved new conditions for receiving government assistance for internally displaced persons. IDPs must promptly update information regarding changes in their status or place of residence; otherwise, assistance payments may be temporarily suspended.
In July, the amount of financial assistance for internally displaced persons will remain unchanged. As before, adults will receive 2,000 UAH per month, while children and people with disabilities will receive 3,000 UAH each.
Payments will be made in two installments—by the 15th and by the 28th of each month. The exact date the funds are credited depends on the operations of the bank and the State Treasury Service.
At the same time, certain categories of displaced persons must contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine or an administrative services center to update their information.
This applies to citizens who have changed their residential address or family composition, are applying for child benefits for the first time, have had their benefit applications denied and wish to have them reinstated after confirming their income, as well as those whose financial circumstances have changed and who wish to have the decision on benefit eligibility reviewed.
To resume payments after a denial, an income criterion applies: no more than 10,380 UAH per person.
If you do not report these changes in a timely manner, your state benefits may be suspended.
According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 709, assistance is granted to vulnerable categories of internally displaced persons for a period of up to 30 months from the date of initial application.
