The media have learned who will post the 6 million hryvnia bail for Stefanishyna
Bail in the amount of 6 million hryvnias was posted for Olga Stefanishyna, the former head of Ukraine’s diplomatic mission in the United States. The funds were transferred by the law firm “Ilyashev & Partners.”
“Bail has been posted for Olga Vitaliivna Stefanishyna. The payment from the law firm ‘Ilyashev & Partners’ amounts to 6 million hryvnias.”
This was reported by sources speaking to “Ukrainska Pravda.”
Olga Stefanishyna, Ukraine’s former ambassador to the United States, stated that she currently lacks the funds to pay the 6 million hryvnia bail set by the High Anti-Corruption Court. According to her, she will seek a way to comply with the court’s decision.
Earlier, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) served Stefanyishyna with a new indictment.
Recently, President Zelenskyy dismissed Stefanishyna from her post as Ukraine’s ambassador to the U.S.
NABU conducted searches in connection with the case involving Stefanyishyna’s possible illicit enrichment.
