NATO is preparing to provide Ukraine with assistance for demining
Ukraine has appealed to NATO for international assistance in conducting humanitarian demining operations in war-affected areas.
The State Emergency Service’s request has already been forwarded to NATO member states and partners. It is being reviewed by the Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center, which is coordinating potential assistance.
Ukraine has requested 19 types of equipment for deminers. These include protective suits, ballistic goggles and ear protection, magnetometers, explosive ordnance disposal vehicles, portable endoscopes, and other specialized equipment.
NATO stated that it remains committed to supporting Ukraine and will continue to coordinate further assistance.
