21 Countries Have Already Joined the PURL Program: Commitments Exceed $4.18 Billion

A total of 21 countries have already joined the international defense program PURL, and the overall amount of their financial commitments has reached $4.18 billion.

This was reported by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha.

According to him, the program continues to show rapid expansion, demonstrating partners’ stable and long-term commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defense needs.

Sybiha emphasized that during his recent visit to NATO headquarters alone, Ukraine managed to secure nearly one billion dollars in additional funding.

This includes contributions from five new participants as well as eight additional payments from countries already involved in the program.

A particularly notable development was the participation of Australia and New Zealand in PURL, which for the first time expanded the initiative beyond NATO member states.

The Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List program was launched by the United States and NATO as a mechanism to quickly supply Ukraine with critically important weaponry.

Within this initiative, partners fund the procurement of advanced American weapons according to an agreed-upon priority list of the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
