As of June 2, 2026, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 56 Russian assaults in the Pokrovsk sector. This section of the front remains one of the most intense along the line of contact.
In total, 249 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 91 airstrikes, dropping 317 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 9,007 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,342 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 59 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 13 areas of enemy troop concentration and one other important enemy target.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions over the past day, four combat engagements took place; the aggressor carried out 6 airstrikes using 18 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 76 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including eight using MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 13 times near Veterinarne, Starytsia, Prylipka, Lyman, Synelnykove, Vovchanskiy Khutory, and Zybine.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attempts to advance near Kurylivka, Bohuslavka, and toward Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defenses 10 times near Kopanok, Novomykhailivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Lyman, Ozerny, and Yampil.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched 10 assaults near Zakitne, Kaleniky, Riznykivka, and toward Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy made two futile attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions near the village of Nikiforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the occupiers carried out 10 attacks near Ivanopil, Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Mykolaipil, Kuchero Yar, and Novyi Shakhovyi.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 56 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, Muravka, and Horikove, as well as toward the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Bilytske, and Serhiivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of Verbove and Voskresenka.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Zlagoda, Dobropillia, Olenokostyantynivka, Zaliznychne, and Charivne, as well as toward Kosivtseve, Rizvdianka, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, and Verkhnia Tersa.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In the Dnipro direction, our defenders successfully repelled two assaults toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings have been detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy and are putting up effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian invaders suffered 1,440 casualties. Three tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 75 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defense system, 14 ground-based robotic systems, 1,583 unmanned aerial vehicles, 517 enemy vehicles, and two units of special equipment were also neutralized.

Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,430 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed dozens of artillery systems, hundreds of vehicles, and nearly 1,800 drones.
