The Russian army attempted to break through the border in the Kharkiv region
Russian forces on 3 March attempted to breach Ukraine’s state border in the Kharkiv region and attack Defence Forces positions in the direction of the settlements of Zybynе and Kruhle.
This was reported by the Joint Forces Grouping.
According to the military, over the past day on the South Slobozhanskyi axis, the occupiers carried out attempts to break through the border and conducted assault operations.
“Over the past day, the enemy attempted to breach Ukraine’s state border and attack our positions in the direction of Zybynе and Kruhle. Our units delivered fire strikes on the occupiers’ assault groups,” the statement said.
Ukrainian forces inflicted fire damage on the enemy’s assault groups, as a result of which their attempts to advance were thwarted.
The General Staff also published a map of combat operations on the South Slobozhanskyi axis.
The Defence Forces struck a space communications centre and enemy air defence facilities.
It is recalled that powerful explosions were heard at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.
Drones also attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
