Air Force: Ukraine is developing a unique anti-drone dome

Ukraine is moving closer to establishing its own system to protect its airspace from drones—the so-called anti-drone dome.

This was announced by Pavlo Yelizarov, deputy commander of the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to him, work on the project is ongoing, and development is progressing every day.

Yelizarov noted that the system will be unique and will have no direct analogues in the world, particularly due to the conditions of its creation and the use of available resources.

He explained that the experience of other countries, such as Israel or the UAE, cannot be fully applied in Ukraine due to its significantly larger territory and limited financial capabilities.

Therefore, Ukraine is forced to develop its own solution, adapted to the realities of war and available resources.

In Mykolaiv, one of the city’s districts was left without power due to a drone attack.

On the night of April 30, Russia carried out a large-scale air attack on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 206 strike drones of various types.
