General Staff: Occupiers Have Attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces Positions 55 Times in the Past 24 Hours
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have carried out 55 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The situation is most tense in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, and Kostiantynivka sectors.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 11 times. Another 11 assaults were recorded in the Lyman direction.
In the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy carried out nine attacks; the Russians conducted the same number of assaults in the Huliaipole sector.
Combat clashes are also ongoing in the Southern Slobozhansky, Lyman, Sloviansky, Kostyantynivsky, Pokrovsky, and Huliaipil sectors.
In addition, Russian troops continue to shell border areas in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. The settlements of Neskuchne, Rohizne, Korenok, Sopych, Yastrubshchyna, Ulanove, Tovstodubove, Ryzhivka, Volfyne, and others came under fire.
No significant changes in the operational situation were recorded in the remaining sectors.
