The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled seven Russian attempts to advance in the Lyman direction — General Staff
Since the start of the current 24-hour period on July 25, 202 combat engagements have been recorded on the front lines. Russian forces launched one missile strike using two missiles, carried out 56 airstrikes, dropping 165 guided bombs, deployed 6,490 kamikaze drones for attacks, and carried out 2,302 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.
Situation by Sector
- In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, since the start of the day, the enemy has carried out 54 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including six using multiple-launch rocket systems.
- Over the past 24 hours, in the Southern Slobozhansky sector, the enemy launched nine assaults on the positions of our units in the areas around the settlements of Prylipka, Starytsia, and Vilcha, as well as toward the settlements of Ternova, Izbytske, and Khatne. Two firefights are ongoing.
- In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy launched one attack toward Shyikivka.
- Seven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector near Novoselivka and toward Lyman, Stavky, and Dibrova. Two firefights are still ongoing.
- In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully halted 21 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas around the settlements of Kryva Luka and Zakytne, as well as toward Pyskunivka, Mykolaivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka. Two more attacks are currently underway.
- In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out two attacks near the settlement of Fedorivka Druha.In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 24 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopillia, as well as toward Stepanivka and Novopavlivka.
- The enemy carried out 35 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Shakove, Sofiivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Udachne, as well as toward the settlements of Vilne, Nove Shakove, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, and Myrne. Two firefights are still ongoing.
- According to preliminary estimates, 52 occupiers were eliminated and 22 were wounded today; a UAV depot, two artillery systems, two vehicles, and one piece of specialized equipment were destroyed. Four artillery systems, four vehicles, one piece of specialized equipment, a UAV command post, and 175 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 239 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
- In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks toward Verbove and Berezove.In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 17 enemy attacks directed at the settlements of Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Hirke, and Charivne.
- In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders halted one enemy attempt to advance in the area of the settlement of Mali Shcherbaky.As a reminder, at least seven people were killed in Ukraine on July 25 as a result of Russian attacks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian intelligence has detected the Kremlin’s preparations for a new wave of mobilization measures this fall. According to him, Russia may also be planning to recruit approximately 30,000 more troops from North Korea for the war against Ukraine.
Madyar reported an increase in the number of Russian troops on the front lines.
