Since the start of the day on April 30, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 41 times.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The most intense fighting is taking place in the east. In particular, in the Kostiantynivka sector, 12 attacks were recorded near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and other settlements.
The enemy carried out another 12 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction—in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, and Molodetske. Some of the fighting is still ongoing.
In other sectors of the front, the intensity of combat operations is lower. In the Kharkiv region and the Kupiansk direction, several attacks took place, which Ukrainian troops repelled.
In the south, the Defense Forces are holding back offensives in the Huliaipole and Dnipro directions, where a series of assaults have been recorded.
Meanwhile, the Russian army continues to shell border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions and is conducting airstrikes.
According to the General Staff, there have been no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
The occupiers are shelling Vovchansk in an attempt to capture the city and its outskirts, according to the "Forpost" brigade.
Ukrainian troops recently advanced in the Donetsk region. This refers to the area between Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, where the Defense Forces were able to improve their positions.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost approximately 1,271,350 troops. In the last 24 hours alone, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another 950 occupiers.
