Azov struck at Russian fuel infrastructure in the Donetsk region
The 1st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” announced the successful completion of Operation “Hell-2” in the Donetsk region. According to military officials, facilities used by Russian troops to store and supply fuel were destroyed during the operation. “Azov” emphasized that these were specifically the occupiers’ military infrastructure.
The 1st Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard “Azov” released a report on the results of Operation “Hell-2.” The military stated that the operation was conducted in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. According to the fighters, a month ago they warned Russian units that they were monitoring their movements and could strike at the right moment.
“Operation ‘Hell-2’ is further proof. A month ago, we warned the occupiers: ‘Azov’ is monitoring their movements and will strike at the right moment,” the military said. However, according to the corps, some Russian units ignored this warning. They continued to use the territory to store fuel.
Azov showed the results of the strikes
Military officials noted that, as part of the operation, targets associated with the storage and supply of fuel for Russian troops were struck. “The burning dots on the map indicate facilities involved in storing and supplying fuel to the Russians. A month later, these points remain only on the maps; in reality, the ground there is now scorched,” Azov stated.
Along with the statement, the military released a video showing footage of the operation and its aftermath. The unit did not specify the exact number of targets struck, the weapons used, or other details of the operation.
“Azov” stated that it does not attack civilian targets
Separately, Azov emphasized that their strikes are aimed at the military infrastructure of the Russian occupation forces. ““The Corps never strikes civilian gas stations and does not attack the civilian population, as the Russian invaders do every day,” the military stated.
At the same time, the corps warned that it would continue to destroy facilities used by the Russian army. “But the infrastructure of the occupying forces will be destroyed without mercy,” Azov emphasized. Thus, “Hell-2” became a continuation of the Corps’ operations against Russian military infrastructure in the occupied territory. However, the exact extent of Russian losses and the full list of targets struck have not yet been officially disclosed. This information comes from an Azov report.
The 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” carries out combat missions under the operational command of the Azov Corps. However, the regiment is not part of the Azov structure; this refers specifically to operational subordination during the execution of combat missions.
