Drones attacked the "Nevinnomysskiy Azot" chemical plant in the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation
On the night of May 16, drones attacked the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant in Russia’s Stavropol Krai. A massive fire broke out on the plant’s grounds following a series of explosions.
This is reported by monitoring channels and Exilenova+.
According to eyewitnesses, the explosions in Nevinnomyssk occurred around 2:30 a.m. Videos shared by local residents show intense flames on the plant’s grounds.
Witnesses claim that the fire intensified over the course of several dozen minutes and also complain about the inaction of Russian air defense forces.
“Nevinnomyssk Azot” is one of the largest chemical plants in the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation.
As of this morning, Russian authorities have not commented on the consequences of the attack or possible damage to the facility.
