Charter fighters carried out a unique robotic evacuation near Kupiansk
Servicemen of the 13th Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard, “Charter,” successfully carried out a unique evacuation operation near Kupiansk using ground-based robotic systems.
During a single mission, they managed to evacuate a fallen Ukrainian defender and remove a Russian prisoner of war from the combat zone.
To carry out the mission, Ukrainian troops used:
- two ground-based robotic systems (GRS);
- two pickup trucks;
- an ATV.
During the operation, one of the robotic systems got stuck in the mud. To rescue the vehicle and complete the mission, a brigade sergeant with the call sign “Pukh” rode out on the ATV and helped pull the RRS free.
Thanks to careful planning and the coordinated actions of the soldiers, the operation was successfully completed.
As a result, the Ukrainian defenders brought their fallen comrade home and also delivered a Russian prisoner of war, adding to the exchange pool.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems unit continues Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” striking the energy infrastructure of Russian occupation forces in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Between August 4 and 5, 13 energy facilities were struck.

On the night of August 4, 2026, drones attacked the distribution center of “Lenta,” one of Russia’s largest supermarket chains, in the Leningrad Region. A fire broke out at the facility following the strike, and operations at the receiving warehouse were temporarily suspended.
