Smoke from the fire at the Wildberries warehouse is drifting toward the area around Putin's palace

Combustion byproducts from the massive fire at the Wildberries warehouse in Krasnodar could spread as far as the Idokopas Cape area near Gelendzhik, where a palace linked to Russian dictator Putin is located. 

According to meteorologists, in the afternoon, the smoke could reach the Black Sea coast, specifically Tuapse, and in the evening and at night, it could approach Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk. At the same time, the concentration of combustion products in the area of Cape Idokopas will remain significantly below the maximum permissible limits and will correspond to a low level of air pollution.

A similarly safe level of pollution is expected in Maykop, Lazarevskoye, Ust-Labinsk, Apsheronsk, and Tuapse, while the highest concentration is forecast for Goryachy Klyuch.

The Agency reports this, citing a forecast from the Meteoweb project.

Losses incurred by Russian retailers from the July 22 drone attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could amount to approximately 100–120 billion rubles (1.27–1.53 billion U.S. dollars), assuming the warehouses were fully stocked and most of the goods were destroyed.

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tomsk region.
