Russia attacked Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding area: two dead and at least six wounded
On the evening of July 22, Russian troops from the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, attacked Zaporizhzhia, as well as the villages of Lezhine and Bilenke in the Zaporizhzhia district. Two people were killed and at least six were wounded as a result of the strikes.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian guided bombs struck the village of Lezhine. Residential buildings were destroyed there; one person was killed and at least three others were injured. Earlier, Fedorov reported that people might be trapped under the rubble.
Russian forces carried out another strike with guided bombs on the village of Bilenke. A 38-year-old man was killed as a result of the destruction caused by the attack.
A Russian drone also struck the premises of a civilian enterprise in Zaporizhzhia. Buildings and vehicles caught fire. A 33-year-old woman and two men, aged 25 and 41, were injured. Emergency services are on the scene at the sites of the attacks.
