In the temporarily occupied city of Yalta, water supply restrictions have been imposed due to power outages. Water will be supplied to the city for only three hours a day, according to the local “Vodokanal YUBK.”
According to the company, on July 22, water in Yalta will be available in the evening—from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This schedule has been implemented due to power supply issues.
“Due to power outages, water supply in the city of Yalta is limited. On July 22, 2026, water will be supplied in the evening—from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,” the statement reads.
However, “Vodokanal YUBK” did not specify how long the restrictions will remain in effect. They promised to publish the water supply schedule for the coming days at a later time.
“The water supply schedule for the coming days will be published later,” the company said.
The restrictions were introduced amid infrastructure problems in the temporarily occupied Crimea following Ukrainian attacks on targets on the peninsula.
Local residents and visitors to Yalta were asked to take the new water supply schedule into account. The statement also apologized for the temporary inconvenience.
