A girl and a teenager were returned home from the occupied Kherson region
Two more children have been successfully returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. A 10-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, who endured a difficult time under occupation, have been reunited with their families.
The children are currently safe and receiving the necessary assistance.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration. According to him, the children lived in conditions of fear, pressure, and constant uncertainty due to the Russian occupation. They are now in territory controlled by Ukraine. “We managed to bring back two more children from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. They are a 10-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy,” Prokudin said.
Their return was made possible through cooperation with the charity “Save Ukraine” and as part of Ukrainian President’s “Bring Kids Back UA” initiative. Upon their return, the children are undergoing the necessary procedures and receiving support to help them adjust after their ordeal. Oleksandr Prokudin also noted that efforts to return children from the occupied territories are ongoing.
According to him, since the beginning of 2026 alone, 110 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied communities of the Kherson region. Ukraine continues to work to bring back all children who were forced to remain in the occupied territories due to Russian aggression. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
The number of people affected by this morning’s Russian attack on Kharkiv continues to rise. As of now, 42 people are known to have been wounded. Emergency rescue operations are underway at the site of one of the strikes, and medical personnel continue to provide assistance to the victims.
