A drone struck a car in Sumy Oblast; one person was injured
In the Krasnopil community of Sumy Oblast, a Russian drone attacked a civilian vehicle. As a result, the 58-year-old driver was injured and has already received medical attention, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, at around 7:30 a.m. in the Krasnopil community of Sumy District, a drone struck a civilian vehicle traveling through the community. A 58-year-old man was injured in the strike and was promptly taken to medical personnel.
The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office clarified that the victim’s condition has stabilized after receiving the necessary care. Prosecutors, along with other law enforcement agencies, are currently documenting the consequences of the attack and gathering evidence for further investigation. The office notes that this is yet another strike against civilian transport in the border zone.
“He has already received the necessary medical care,” the prosecutor’s office reported, commenting on the condition of the injured driver. The situation in the border communities of Sumy Oblast remains tense, with drone attacks on civilian targets being recorded there regularly.
