The SBU destroyed more than 500 pieces of enemy equipment in a week
Over the past week, Ukrainian special forces from the SBU’s Special Operations Center “A” have launched massive strikes against Russian military logistics and destroyed more than 500 pieces of equipment. This involves a systematic hunt for supply convoys that provide the occupying army with fuel, ammunition, and manpower before they even reach the front lines. This was reported by the SBU.
SBU “Alpha” fighters use FPV kamikaze drones and precision-guided munitions to detect and destroy enemy transport convoys in the immediate rear, effectively cutting off supplies while they are still en route to the front. As the security service explains, the focus is not only on combat engagements but also on the entire support system that keeps the Russian army operational.
“We are targeting logistics because that is the foundation of their offensive. Without fuel and ammunition, any army comes to a standstill,” the SBU notes. According to official data, in the past week alone, special forces have struck and destroyed over 500 pieces of various military equipment. Among them:
- military trucks transporting ammunition and personnel;
- fuel tankers, the destruction of which effectively “cuts off” entire supply routes;
- engineering equipment used to set up positions and fortifications.
The SBU emphasizes that such losses are forcing the Russian command to change tactics, switch to less effective modes of movement, and seek alternative supply channels.
According to estimates by the Ukrainian military, the systematic destruction of logistics is already having a direct impact on combat operations, as the occupiers are forced to conserve resources, reduce rotations, and sometimes use civilian transport or move on foot, which significantly increases their losses. Every destroyed truck or fuel tanker means not just the loss of equipment, but also the disruption of deliveries of ammunition and fuel that could have been used on the front lines.
The SBU emphasizes that such strikes will continue, as logistics remains one of the key factors determining the effectiveness of the enemy’s actions on the battlefield.
Ukraine’s unmanned aerial vehicle forces announced the destruction of two Tu-142 aircraft and an Iskander operational-tactical missile system at a military airfield in Taganrog, Russia.
On the night of May 29, drones attacked fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia, resulting in fires at an oil depot in Armavir and at the port of Taganrog.
Over the past 24 hours, 291 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops, with the heaviest fighting continuing in the Pokrovsk direction.
Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,430 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed dozens of artillery systems, hundreds of vehicles, and nearly 1,800 drones.
On the night of May 30, Russia launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, using missiles and hundreds of drones, but most of the targets were successfully neutralized by air defense forces.
