A civilian was killed and two others were injured in the Sumy region as a result of Russian strikes

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out more than 50 attacks on 19 settlements in the Sumy region, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to two others. Border communities came under fire, with damage to homes and infrastructure reported. This was announced on Telegram by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

 

The Sumy region once again endured a day of constant attacks, as Russian drones and other weapons struck settlements almost without pause, leaving behind destroyed homes, damaged facilities, and human casualties.

According to Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, “in the Krasnopil community, a 59-year-old man was killed and a 48-year-old woman was injured as a result of an enemy drone explosion,” which was the most tragic incident of the day in the border region. In the Khotyn community, a 65-year-old man was wounded after finding himself in the strike zone during another attack, as Russian troops continued to heavily shell civilian areas of the region.

In total, over 50 shelling incidents were recorded over the past 24 hours across 19 settlements in 11 communities, with residential buildings, shops, vehicles, and infrastructure coming under fire, further complicating life for local residents in the frontline region.

Due to the constant danger, six people were also evacuated from border communities, and the air raid alert in the region lasted nearly a full day—23 hours and 31 minutes—effectively turning the region into a zone of continuous risk.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled at least 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries. Both frontline communities and settlements deeper within the region came under attack, with homes and infrastructure damaged.

In the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, 21 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling, and the region came under massive attacks by drones, artillery, and aircraft. 

On the night of May 30, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the Shostka community in Sumy Oblast, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region simultaneously using drones, resulting in fires and damage to infrastructure. 
 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 911 strikes on 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones, damaging residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
