The Russians struck Zaporizhzhia for the second time this morning; one person has been killed

Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia twice this morning, hitting industrial infrastructure. One man was killed and another wounded in the attack. This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on Facebook.

 

Russian troops once again launched an airstrike on Zaporizhzhia, and this morning the city was rocked by repeated explosions that struck industrial facilities and affected people who were simply going about their work and daily lives.

 

According to Ivan Fedorov, a drone struck the territory of one of the industrial infrastructure facilities, after which a fire broke out, and the strike again resulted in human casualties. “The enemy has attacked Zaporizhzhia again. A fire broke out after an enemy drone struck the territory of one of the industrial infrastructure facilities. One man was fatally wounded. Another sustained injuries,” the statement reads.

 

After the attack, it became known that a man had been killed, and another local resident sustained injuries of varying severity; he is currently receiving medical care. Fedorov also noted that the blast wave and debris damaged a residential building where civilians were present, who found themselves right next to the impact zone.

 

Emergency services immediately began working at the scene; rescue workers are dealing with the aftermath of the fire, while law enforcement officers are documenting yet another war crime by Russian troops, who continue to strike the city in the morning, just as it is beginning to wake up and go about its normal routine.

On the night of May 30, Russian drones attacked Shostka in the Sumy region, completely destroying the railway station building and damaging the station’s infrastructure. 

In the Donetsk region over the past day, Russian strikes killed one civilian and wounded six others, while the attacks continue to devastate the region’s cities and communities. 

In the Sumy region over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out more than 50 shelling attacks on 19 settlements, killing one civilian and wounding two others. 

Over the past day, Russian troops shelled at least 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region, resulting in civilian casualties. Both frontline communities and settlements further inland were targeted, with homes and infrastructure damaged.

In the Kherson region over the past day, 21 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling, and the region came under massive attacks by drones, artillery, and aircraft. 

On the night of May 30, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on the Shostka community in Sumy Oblast, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region simultaneously using drones, causing fires and damaging infrastructure. 
 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 911 strikes on 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones, damaging residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
