In Zaporizhzhia, a train engineer was killed and two other employees were injured as a result of a Russian strike on railway infrastructure. Rolling stock, including an electric locomotive and a diesel locomotive, was also damaged, according to Ukrzaliznytsia.

 

The strike occurred today around noon on railway infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia. The attack damaged equipment that supports the operation of rolling stock, including an electric locomotive and a diesel locomotive.

The strike killed a train engineer, and two other employees sustained injuries of varying severity. They are receiving necessary medical care, and information about their condition is being updated. Ukrzaliznytsia noted that the company will support the family of the deceased colleague and the injured employees.

On the night of May 30, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the Shostka community in Sumy Oblast, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure. 

Over the course of the day, Russian troops attacked four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region simultaneously using drones, resulting in fires and damage to infrastructure.
