A drone crashed into a residential building during an attack on Orenburg

In Orenburg, Russia, during a drone attack, one of the drones crashed into a high-rise residential building, damaging apartments and the roof.

This was reported by Yevgeny Solntsev, governor of the Orenburg region.

According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. Residents of the building were evacuated and offered temporary accommodation in a hotel.

According to Russian media, the drone may have changed course at the last moment, likely due to electronic countermeasures.

The likely target of the attack could have been the Strel company, which is part of the Russian military-industrial complex and manufactures missile weapons and components for combat aircraft.
