Russian drones struck the Kharkiv region; an ice cream truck driver was wounded
On July 1, Russian drones attacked one of the settlements in the Krasnokutsk community in the Kharkiv region; infrastructure facilities and a civilian car carrying ice cream were hit, resulting in injuries to the driver. The man was hospitalized, and emergency services are on the scene.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops launched a drone strike on one of the settlements in the Krasnokutsk community in the Bohodukhiv district, and several civilian infrastructure facilities were hit.
According to community head Iryna Karabut, the drones struck an energy infrastructure facility, a retail establishment, and a truck transporting ice cream. It was the driver of that truck who was injured during the attack. “Today, the enemy attacked one of the settlements in our community. Enemy drones struck an energy infrastructure facility, a retail facility, and a truck carrying ice cream. Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle was injured as a result of the attack,” the statement reads.
The injured man was promptly taken to the hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care. Emergency services are working at the scene to address the aftermath of the attack and assess the damage. The situation in the community remains tense as rescue workers continue to clear debris and inspect the area following the drone strike. Russian propaganda outlets have claimed to have allegedly captured the village of Ivolzhanske in the Sumy region. At the same time, the Ukrainian side refutes these claims, emphasizing that the information about these “successes” is fabricated and does not correspond to reality.
