The General Staff confirmed extensive damage to the Russian Space Communications Center near Moscow

According to the results of a further analysis, the damage to a strategic military facility of the Russian army in the Moscow Region turned out to be significantly more extensive than previously thought. On June 26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully struck the Russian Armed Forces’ Space Communications Center near the village of Belomut. 

The Ukrainian military command emphasizes that this facility is the most modernized and powerful communications hub of the occupying forces in the entire central region of the aggressor country. 

As a result of precision fire, the Defense Forces managed to hit the complex’s main technical building, damage large antennas, and destroy a tower with parabolic antennas. In addition, a significant portion of the enemy center’s high-value antenna equipment was completely destroyed, which will significantly weaken the Russian troops’ coordination and communication capabilities.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the successful strike on the Russian space communications center.
