Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv: three people were injured
The Russian Federation—an aggressor state—launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv on the night of July 26. Three residents of the capital were injured in the attack; one was hospitalized, and the other two received outpatient medical care.
According to the National Police, a woman and two men were injured in the Solomyanskyi district. Investigative and operational teams, bomb disposal experts, rescue workers, and other specialized services are on the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of Russia’s armed aggression.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris fell on an 18-story building, where a fire broke out on the seventh and eighth floors. A four-story building that had been evacuated was also on fire in this district.

In the Solomyanskyi district, falling debris caused a fire and damage to a non-residential building. In the Desnianskyi district, a warehouse burned down, and a fire in a parking lot destroyed 10 cars and a truck. All fires were extinguished by emergency responders.
In Kyiv, an office building, warehouse facilities, and vehicles were also damaged. Prior to the attack, the Air Force had warned of the threat of ballistic weapons being launched from the north.
