A Ukrainian Air Force pilot destroyed four of the occupiers' armored vehicles in a single sortie in the Zaporizhzhia sector
A pilot from the 114th Tactical Aviation Brigade, with the call sign “OSCAR,” destroyed four armored vehicles belonging to Russian forces during a single combat sortie. The strike was carried out by a MiG-29 fighter jet using GBU-39 precision-guided bombs.
According to the brigade, during aerial reconnaissance in the Zaporizhzhia sector, drone operators detected a hangar where the occupiers had hidden their armored vehicles. The target’s coordinates were promptly relayed to the command post, after which the decision was made to carry out an airstrike.
“I was on duty at one of the operational airfields. I received an order for a combat sortie, flew to the designated area, and carried out a bombing run on the target. A few minutes after the strike, reconnaissance units confirmed the destruction of four enemy armored vehicles,” said the pilot with the call sign “OSCAR.”
The brigade noted that since the start of the full-scale invasion, the pilot has flown over 400 combat sorties. During this time, he has destroyed more than 150 ground targets and about 15 air targets belonging to the Russian occupiers, demonstrating high effectiveness in carrying out combat missions.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key targets belonging to the Russian aggressor as part of efforts to reduce its military and economic potential. On July 28, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on the “Prioritet” industrial complex in the Udmurt Republic, as well as on enemy warehouses and other facilities. The attacks took place on July 27 and during the night of July 28, 2026.
Earlier, Wildberries removed the search option for military goods under the query “Everything for the Special Military Operation.”
As a reminder, Ukrainian drones struck six Wildberries warehouses in Russia and Crimea.
