An energy worker was killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation
As a result of a massive Russian attack on the night of July 30, consumers in five regions of Ukraine are temporarily without power. A power utility worker was killed while on duty in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to the agency, due to hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure, settlements in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions are temporarily without power.
The most critical situation is currently in the Sumy region. Following a nighttime attack by Russian forces, a significant number of consumers in Sumy and surrounding communities are without power.
The Ministry of Energy noted that emergency repair crews are working at all sites where the security situation permits, in order to restore power as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the ministry emphasized that, as of July 30, there are no plans to implement power rationing schedules.
Separately, it was reported that an energy sector worker was killed as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region.

On the night of July 30, Russian troops launched a massive strike on Ukrainian territory, killing at least eight people and injuring more than 50 others. According to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, emergency rescue operations are ongoing in Lviv and the Dnipropetrovsk region, as people may still be trapped under the rubble.
As a reminder, the Bohodukhiv dairy plant suspended operations following an attack by Russian drones.
