Russian nighttime shelling claimed the lives of 8 people in several regions
On the night of July 29–30, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory, killing at least eight people and injuring more than 50 others. According to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, emergency rescue operations are ongoing in Lviv and the Dnipropetrovsk region, as people may still be trapped under the rubble.
“In the Kryvyi Rih district, a direct hit struck a typical private home where a large family lived. Six people were killed, including three children: a 6-year-old girl and two boys, aged 11 and 17. At least 8 people were injured, including two children. We have preliminary information about several people missing—all relevant units are doing their utmost to locate them. The identification of the recovered body parts is also underway.
Five people were injured in the Kyiv region—they are also from the same family. Thanks to the swift actions of rescue workers, three people were successfully extracted from under the rubble. They are currently receiving all necessary assistance.
The strike has caused significant damage to apartment buildings in Lviv. Dozens of people have been injured, including children. A police officer and a rescue worker were wounded. The floors between levels have collapsed—we have deployed aerial equipment to evacuate residents. We have already managed to rescue 39 people. A mobile service center from the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also operating at the site of the strike—citizens can quickly replace lost documents.
As a result of the enemy strike, one person was killed and two were injured in Kyiv. Rescue workers have already extinguished the fires that engulfed the market and a garage cooperative. Investigators from the National Police of Ukraine are documenting yet another crime committed by Russia.

Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs—rescuers, investigators, bomb disposal experts, patrol officers, psychologists, medical personnel, K-9 handlers, and support services—are always there to help. And every time, they prove that professionalism, coordination, and dedication to their work are stronger than terror,” the Minister stated.
