Volunteers evacuated 27 people from a community near the front lines in the Kharkiv region
Police officers from the “White Angels” evacuation unit, together with volunteers, evacuated 27 residents from the frontline community of Vilkhuvate in the Kupiansk District of Kharkiv Oblast. The evacuation took place under the constant threat of attacks by Russian FPV drones.
Among those evacuated were six people with limited mobility and one wounded person, who required special assistance while leaving the dangerous area.
During the evacuation operation, the crews were repeatedly threatened by enemy drones. To protect civilians and personnel, law enforcement officers used armor and electronic warfare (EW) equipment.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of police officers and volunteers, all 27 people were safely evacuated and transported to a relatively safe location.
The evacuees are currently receiving the necessary assistance.
