On the afternoon of July 26, Russian troops launched a strike on Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. One person was killed in the attack, and six other residents were injured.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. According to him, the strike damaged residential and non-residential buildings, as well as an educational institution.

“Russian guided aerial bombs struck the regional center: residential and non-residential buildings, as well as an educational institution, were damaged. Unfortunately, one man was killed. Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the wounded,” Fedorov said.

He added that the victims are receiving the necessary medical care.

As a reminder, the Russians struck a Nova Poshta logistics hub in Zaporizhzhia.

Passenger rail service to Zaporizhzhia has been suspended for the third consecutive day for security reasons. This was announced on Saturday by Mykola Kalashnyk, Ukraine’s Minister of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport.
