On the eve of Easter, Russian drones struck Naftogaz Ukraine infrastructure in the Poltava region. The attack caused a fire, but there were no casualties.
"On the eve of Catholic Easter, Russian troops attacked Naftogaz Group infrastructure assets in the Poltava region. The strikes were carried out using drones. The shelling caused a fire. A second attack took place shortly thereafter," Koretskyy described the situation on Facebook on Saturday.
According to him, there were no casualties, and State Emergency Service units responded promptly to the situation.
"Russia continues its targeted attacks on oil, gas, and energy infrastructure. Since the beginning of the year, the enemy has attacked Naftogaz Group facilities more than 40 times," the head emphasized.
Naftogaz presented the EU with a project to rebuild the Druzhba oil pipeline following the Russian attack.
As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed a new composition of the supervisory board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine upon the recommendation of the nomination committee.
In addition, the Naftogaz Group has finally won a lawsuit against Russia’s Gazprom for more than $1.4 billion.
