Crew members of the tanker Gas Lisbon, which was struck off the coast of Romania, said the ship was attacked by three strike drones.
According to the sailors, the first strike hit the engine room, the second hit the ship’s living quarters, and the third drone attacked the ship about three hours later. After the first strikes, the crew began the evacuation and provided assistance to the three injured crew members.
Romanian rescue workers arrived at the tanker a few hours after the attack.
