It took four days to extinguish the fire at the Wildberries warehouse in Elektrostal, near Moscow

The fire that broke out at the Wildberries logistics facility in Elektrostal, Moscow Region, as a result of a drone attack on July 18, has only now been completely extinguished. 

This was reported by the RWB press service, citing information from the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Moscow Region.

The company is currently conducting a comprehensive assessment of the damage and analyzing the condition of the warehouse complex’s infrastructure. A hotline continues to operate around the clock to provide support and counseling to the complex’s employees and their families. However, the company has made no mention of compensation payments to the owners of the goods, which were destroyed in the fire and were valued at two billion euros.

On the night of July 18, Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tombovsk region.

Reports have emerged that the company changed its rules for compensating customers prior to the Ukrainian drone attacks. Wildberries will not issue any refunds for goods destroyed in the fires at its warehouses.
