Photo: Russia attacked a dairy farm in the Sumy region; livestock were killed
On July 27, Russian troops launched a drone strike on a dairy farm in the Duboviazivska community in Sumy Oblast. The attack killed part of the cattle herd, according to the Milk Producers Association. The farm is currently assessing the damage caused by the attack.
“Since the evening, the enemy has been attacking a civilian enterprise with drones. An engine from a jet-powered UAV was found on the farm’s grounds. Cows were killed in the strikes, and some animals were injured. Fortunately, no people were harmed,” the statement said.
The Milk Producers Association clarified that the dairy farm of a member of the association was targeted.
Despite the shelling and losses, the farm continues to operate, the statement noted.
As a reminder, Russia launched massive strikes on four border regions of Ukraine.
