On July 24, Russian troops launched a strike on Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. The attack left four people injured, damaged private homes, and struck the grounds of a cemetery.

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. According to him, the shelling caused destruction and damage to private homes. 

Rescuers pulled a man from the rubble of one of the houses; he was hospitalized. All emergency and specialized services are working at the scene.

Fedorov later clarified that one of the Russian guided bombs struck a cemetery in one of Zaporizhzhia’s districts.

According to preliminary information, the strike destroyed gravestones. Details regarding the consequences of the attack are being clarified.

As of 6:14 p.m., medical assistance was provided on site to a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. Two other victims—men aged 75 and 44—were hospitalized. Medical personnel assess the 75-year-old man’s condition as serious.

As a reminder, a Russian drone struck a car in Kharkiv, killing the driver.

On July 24 at approximately 11:30 a.m., Russian forces launched an attack on the Kyiv region with three “Iskander-M”/S-400 ballistic missiles from the north. Air defense forces intercepted one missile; the other two struck the Bucha district.
