Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of Su-30SM2 multi-role fighters and Su-34 front-line bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The corporation stated that the aircraft underwent a full cycle of ground and flight factory tests, after which they were transferred to their permanent bases.

The company did not disclose the exact number of aircraft delivered. However, judging by the published photos and videos, the Russian military likely received at least two Su-30SM2 fighters and two Su-34 front-line bombers.

The Su-30SM2 is a modernized version of the Su-30SM multi-role fighter, which was developed from the Soviet Su-27. According to Russian sources, the aircraft can carry R-37M long-range air-to-air missiles with a range of over 200 kilometers.

The Su-34 is the Russian military’s primary frontline bomber and is actively used in the war against Ukraine as a carrier of guided bombs. According to publicly available data, Russia has produced more than 150 production aircraft of this type.

This was reported on July 9 by the UAC press service on its Telegram channel.

As a reminder, a unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) destroyed reconnaissance drones at an airfield in Crimea.

On the eve of the Ukrainian drone attack on the “Borisoglebsk” military airfield in the Voronezh region, Russia had deployed seven Su-35 fighter jets there. This is confirmed by satellite images obtained by the publication “Military.”
