The General Staff has identified the hottest spots on the front line – maps

Over the course of March 26, 133 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, during which the Defense Forces continued to wear down the combat capabilities of the occupying forces. 

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy carried out over 2,700 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, as well as 41 airstrikes using 136 guided bombs. In addition to aviation, the enemy made massive use of kamikaze drones, with the total number exceeding 6,100 units over the past 24 hours.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions

Today, the enemy carried out 62 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including one using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction

The enemy launched a single assault on the positions of our units near the settlement of Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk direction

The enemy attacked once in the area of Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction

Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight assaults by the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Tverdokhlibove, Drobysheve, Stavy, and Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction

The enemy attempted to advance three times in the areas of Platonivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction

Today, the occupiers launched 21 assaults on the positions of our defenders near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction

The enemy carried out 36 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Pokrovsk, and Molodetske toward the settlements of Kuchery Yar and Svitle. Six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction

The occupiers attempted to improve their position ten times, attacking in the areas of Oleksandrovka, Vyshneve, and Krasnohirsk. Additionally, Pysanka was hit by an airstrike.

In the Huliaipole direction

There were 18 attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Myrne, and Sviatopetrivka. Two clashes are still ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Verkhnia Tersa, Dolynka, Liubytske, and Novosoloshyne.

In the Orikhiv direction

The enemy attacked three times in the areas of Tokmachka, Stepove, and Shcherbakiv. The Veselyanka area was hit by an airstrike.

The heaviest fighting was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the invaders suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment. According to preliminary data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 118 occupiers were killed and 33 wounded in this sector; dozens of vehicles, armored vehicles, and a drone control center were destroyed or damaged. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed or neutralized over 200 enemy UAVs of various types and struck over 40 enemy positions. Active defense and effective fire strikes against Russian forces continue across all other sections of the contact line.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements across the entire front line.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
