Video: The mayor of Sochi congratulated parents on the death of their son, an occupier, in the war
During a meeting with the parents of Russian soldier Aik Roganyan, who was killed in the war against Ukraine, Sochi Mayor Andrei Proshunin presented the family with a posthumous Order of Courage.
“Of course, nothing can ease the pain of loss. But nonetheless, he deserved this,” the official told the deceased’s mother.
Proshunin then shook the father’s hand and said, “From the bottom of my heart. Congratulations. Thank you very much for your son.”
The mayor also promised that the memory of the deceased would be preserved in Sochi and that his family would receive support.
Earlier, Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on a facility in Kryvyi Rih.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles.
Prior to that, Russia had attacked warehouses and energy infrastructure in the Odesa region.
