The General Staff has officially confirmed strikes on the St. Petersburg oil terminal and the Progress plant
On June 2 and during the night of June 3, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched powerful strikes against military and logistical targets of the Russian occupiers.
The defenders successfully attacked an oil terminal in St. Petersburg, a defense plant in the Tambov region, an airfield in the temporarily annexed Crimea, as well as a number of warehouses and command posts.
The most important target of the nighttime attack was the “St. Petersburg” oil terminal, located in the Leningrad region of the Russian Federation.
A massive fire broke out on the grounds of this strategic facility after it was hit. The terminal is one of the largest oil product transshipment complexes in the Baltic region, with a throughput capacity of 10 million tons per year.
The aggressor state has actively utilized it to meet the needs of its military units. According to preliminary data, Russian ships and port infrastructure in the city of Kronstadt were also targeted.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces struck the "Michurinsky Progress Plant," which operates in the Tambov region of the Russian Federation. A fire was reported on the premises of the facility, where components for Russian high-precision weapons are manufactured.
This plant specializes in the production of autopilots, navigation course indicators, and gyroscopic stabilization devices. The occupiers are using these components on a massive scale to equip their aircraft, cruise missiles, and drones.
Successful strikes were also recorded in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. At the Saki military airfield, located in the village of Novofedorivka in Crimea, an RBSN-4N short-range navigation radio system was destroyed.
In addition, in the Donetsk region, an ammunition and drone depot near Halytsynivka was destroyed, as well as a command and observation post in Selidove.
In the Luhansk region, Defense Forces units destroyed an enemy fuel and lubricants depot in the village of Bilolutsk.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
