The General Staff reported that an airfield in Crimea and several bridges had been hit
On the night of July 5, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful strike on the “Gvardeyskoye” military airfield, located in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
This facility is one of the key airfields used by the occupying forces, serving as a base for the Russian Army’s operational-tactical and naval aviation aircraft.
This location is actively used by the enemy to conduct combat sorties, organize logistics routes, and perform maintenance on aircraft.
Official data on the extent of the damage is currently being verified, but the fact of the strike has been confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition to the airfield in Crimea, the Ukrainian military carried out a series of strikes against enemy infrastructure targets in the temporarily occupied territories of mainland Ukraine.
In particular, two key road bridges were targeted, which Russian units had been using to transport weapons and personnel.
The first bridge spans the Hruzkyi Yalanchik River near the village of Guselnikove, and the second spans the Kalmius River near Staromariivka in the Donetsk region.
Disabling these crossings significantly complicates the enemy’s logistics and disrupts the stability of supplies to the occupiers’ frontline units.
In parallel with operations at transportation hubs, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully destroyed three Russian army ammunition depots.
Strikes were carried out on explosive storage facilities located within the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions.
This was reported by the General Staff.
