The General Staff reported that 1,900 Russians were killed in the past 24 hours
As of October 1, the Russian army had lost another 1,900 troops over the past 24 hours. New data on the losses of the Russian occupiers was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of October 1, Russia had lost the following in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel—approximately 1,535,870 (+1,900) people;
- tanks – 12,388 (+0);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,464 (+1);
- artillery systems – 50,555 (+36);
- multiple-launch rocket systems – 2,174 (+3);
- air defense systems – 1,683 (+1);
- aircraft – 443 (+0);
- helicopters – 356 (+0);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,803 (+14) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 541,383 (+1,288) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,126 (+5) units;
- ships/boats – 35 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0);
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 155,887 (+524) units;
- special equipment – 4,774 (+4) units

The General Staff reported Russia’s losses over the past 24 hours and announced the elimination of another 1,470 occupiers.
A drone strike in the Kyiv region caused a fire in residential buildings; two people were rescued.
As a reminder, debris from a Russian drone caused a fire in a five-story building in Kyiv.
Following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, an educational institution was hit.
