The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 171 combat engagements over the past 24 hours
Over the past 24 hours, the situation on the front lines remained tense: 171 combat engagements were recorded between Ukrainian defenders and Russian invaders.
This is reported in a summary from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The highest concentration of enemy forces was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where the Defense Forces repelled more than fifty assaults.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 56 assault operations by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and others.
The enemy also attempted to advance toward Hryshyne, Filiya, and Novooleksandrivka, but was unsuccessful.
Active combat operations continued in the Kostiantynivka sector, where the occupiers carried out 20 attacks. The areas around the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, and Rusyn Yar, as well as the directions toward Sofiivka and Mykolaipillia, came under fire.
In the Huliaipole sector, the intensity of fighting was also high—17 attacks took place in the areas of Huliaipole, Varvarivka, and Myrne.
Occupation forces attempted to improve their tactical position toward Dobropillia and Zaliznychne.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 94 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas. In particular, three attacks were conducted using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted three times to break through defensive lines in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchanskiy Khutir.
In the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors, the invaders attacked eight times, attempting to breach our defenses.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past 24 hours, our defenders repelled six attempts by the occupiers to advance. Fighting took place in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Platonivka.
Isolated assault attempts were recorded in the Kramatorsk and Oleksandrivka sectors, where the enemy attacked a total of eight times.
In the Dnipro direction, the enemy carried out one assault operation toward Bilohrudy Island.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Defense forces continue to control the situation and inflict significant losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.
As a reminder, Syrskyi assessed the level of mobilization in Ukraine as sufficient to replenish the troops.
Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 970 invaders over the past 24 hours.
