The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration called on residents of the occupied territory to evacuate
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, urged residents of the region’s temporarily occupied areas to evacuate to safer locations. And they need to do so as soon as possible.
Fedorov stated that Russian troops have long used Melitopol, Berdyansk, Energodar, and Henichesk as a deep rear and logistics hub to support their forces.
He noted that the occupiers have used territories in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions to deploy military infrastructure, command posts, warehouses, and supply routes
“The enemy has for too long considered Melitopol, Berdyansk, Energodar, and Henichesk to be its deep rear. For too long, it has used the occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as a logistics hub to supply its troops. For too long, it convinced people that the occupation was permanent. Today, the situation is changing. Ukraine’s defense forces are systematically striking the occupiers’ military infrastructure, their command posts, warehouses, and supply routes,” he noted.
Fedorov emphasized that the more the occupiers use the temporarily occupied territories for military purposes, the greater the risks for civilians.
“That is why I urge everyone who has the opportunity not to delay the decision to leave. The most precious thing a person has is their life,” he stated.
Fedorov reported this on his Telegram channel.
As a reminder, two women were injured in the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of a Russian drone attack. The village of Malokaterynivka was hit.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian troops attacked the settlement with a strike drone.
On the morning of June 9, Russian troops struck a vehicle delivering bread to residents of the border town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region with an FPV drone. A 55-year-old driver was injured in the attack. The man is receiving the necessary medical care.
