The Main Intelligence Directorate has disclosed information about the companies involved in the production of the Russian Su-35S

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has published an interactive 3D model of the Russian Su-35S multi-role fighter on the War&Sanctions portal, along with information on the 79 companies involved in its development and production.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian military uses the Su-35S primarily to provide air cover for Su-34 fighter-bomber strike groups, ground forces, and critical infrastructure.

In addition, the fighters are used to intercept Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles, as well as to counter Ukrainian air defense systems.

The companies identified by intelligence are involved in various stages of the aircraft’s production. Specifically, they are engaged in:

  • manufacturing engines and fuel systems;
  • the development of control and communication systems;
  • the development of guidance systems;
  • the production of electronic warfare equipment;
  • manufacturing the main air-to-air missiles used by the Su-35S.

According to the GUR, 22 of the 79 enterprises are still not subject to sanctions by any country in the sanctions coalition.

Among them, intelligence specifically names:

  • the Rubin Corporation, which supplies aircraft landing gear and non-landing gear wheels;
  • PJSC “Hydroavtomatika, which manufactures AU46-05 control units for the aircraft’s fuel system;
  • JSC “Octava Research Institute, which carried out research and development work as part of the Su-35S program.

The relevant data is available in the “Weapons Components” section of the War&Sanctions portal.

The intelligence report emphasized that the synchronization of sanctions against all segments of the Russian military-industrial complex remains a key condition for weakening Russia’s ability to produce weapons.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), coordinated sanctions efforts should help create the conditions for a just peace in Ukraine and restore stability in the world.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate on Facebook.

As a reminder, on Thursday, July 23, the Russian military’s newest fighter jet, the Su-57, crashed in the Moscow region. The cost of such an aircraft is estimated at at least $100 million.
