The death toll in Kyiv following the Russian attack has risen to five

On the evening of September 8, Russian troops struck warehouses in one of the capital’s districts. As a result of this latest attack, two more people were killed, bringing the total number of victims to five.

In the Solomyanskyi district, two people were killed when a warehouse was hit, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Consequently, the total number of fatalities in the capital on September 8 rose to five.

In total, 23 people were injured in the city throughout the night and day of September 8. Currently, 14 of the wounded are being treated in city hospitals. Three of them, in particular, are in serious condition, the mayor clarified.

In the Kyiv region, two people were injured as a result of the enemy attack. Both men suffered shrapnel wounds. They were hospitalized, where they are receiving the necessary medical care.

Russia’s casualties rose by 1,540 soldiers over the past day.

In Sochi, Russia, an attack by drones on the seaport was reported. Local residents reported loud explosions in the central part of the city, after which people were urged to leave the port area.

On the night of September 2, the Moscow Region of Russia came under a massive drone attack. According to the region’s governor, Andriy Vorobyov, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 56 drones over the region.
