Ternopil death toll climbs to 33 after Russian strike
Search and rescue operations are continuing in Ternopil at the site of the Russian strike on a residential building for the fourth day.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The death toll has risen to 33 after the body of another woman was recovered from the rubble.
“As of 4:45 pm on 22 November, rescuers recovered the body of another woman from the rubble. The death toll has risen to 33, including six children,” the statement said.
It is noted that six people are still missing.
The EU ambassador also spoke about the “real hell” in Ternopil following the massive Russian attack.
Earlier, the names of a woman and a child who died during the Russian missile strike on Ternopil were made public.
