The Azov Battalion has announced a drone blockade of Donetsk

All logistics routes around the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk are under drone surveillance by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and military targets on the roads are to be destroyed. Pilots of attack UAVs are targeting Russian logistics in the far operational zone, which demonstrates the ineffectiveness of the enemy’s airspace control system. 

This was reported on Telegram by the 1st Corps of the National Guard “Azov,” emphasizing that there is no longer a safe rear for the occupiers.

Active drone operations have been recorded on the Donetsk Ring Road, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Zugres, Andriivka, Starobesheve, Horlivka, and Lysychansk. Previously, the invaders felt safe in these areas, but now it is impossible to hide or defend against strikes. The command emphasizes that from now on, any military target moving around the city will be destroyed.

In the Russian city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Krai, explosions were heard on the night of April 16 amid a drone attack. The strikes may have hit the storage tanks of the Tuapse Oil Refinery, which belongs to Rosneft.

As a reminder, on the morning of April 15, Ukrainian “Lyuty” strike drones attacked a petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation.
