Lavrov stated that negotiations with Ukraine are not a priority for Russia
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia does not view negotiations with Ukraine as a top priority.

According to Lavrov, Moscow “views positively” the possibility of resuming negotiations, particularly in Istanbul, but this issue is not a priority at the moment.
“Right now, this issue is not the number one priority in our affairs. We haven’t forced negotiations on anyone. If our partner is ready, we’re all for it,” he said.
At the same time, the Russian side traditionally declares its alleged openness to dialogue, despite the ongoing war against Ukraine.
Also in Russia, by 2025, the state had gained control over 32 strategic enterprises with a total value of about 2.5 trillion rubles. The authorities state that the nationalization process will continue.
