A mandatory evacuation of children from 10 villages has been announced in the Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the mandatory evacuation of families with children has been expanded. A total of 222 families with 364 children are to be evacuated from 10 villages in the Synelnykivsky District to safer locations.
This was announced by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration. According to him, rescue workers, law enforcement officers, and representatives of humanitarian organizations are involved in the evacuation. People are being transported via safe routes to transit centers, where they receive the necessary assistance.
There are five such centers operating in the region. There, evacuees can receive financial, medical, psychological, and legal support, as well as food, hygiene supplies, and assistance in replacing lost documents.
Currently, mandatory evacuation of the entire population is in effect in three communities in the Nikopol District and eight communities in the Synelnykivsky District.
According to regional authorities, over the past ten days alone, more than 1,100 adults and over 400 children have left the dangerous areas.
The head of the Regional State Administration urged residents of settlements that are regularly subjected to Russian shelling not to delay their evacuation and to leave promptly for safer regions of Ukraine.

As a reminder, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian troops near the village of Filiya in the Synelnykivskyi District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Following the Russian attack on Pavlohrad the previous day, 18 wounded remain in hospitals across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Four of them are in serious or critical condition, and medical personnel continue to provide them with the necessary care.
